In a heart-rending video, a mother dog rescued its puppy from floodwaters. The video surfaced from flood-affected Karnataka’s Vijayapura. In the video, the dog can be seen carrying the puppy in its mouth to a safe place. The flood situation continues to remain grim in several districts of Karnataka. The army, the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) besides local police and district authorities have pressed into service in flood-affected areas.
