38. Wow. I gotta say. I didn't have high hopes going into this movie but they did a good job recreating the characters, who they cast for them, they way the recreated iconic scenes etc. Granted, they did "white wash" some of these characters so that statement only holds so much value. I'm glad they kept Aramaki Japanese. I honestly don't think his character could have been pulled off any other way. Batou I could see recreated the way he was and even some of the other characters but overall I'm pleasantly surprised. This movie got a bad rap but they did a good job paying fan service.
