What is it you're doing at 28:29? It is some kind of "surveying" trick to measure something; like how it's possible to use one's fist as a crude sextant? Or are you trying to get a bird to perch on your finger? Hehe. I'm so puzzled by that shot … ?
"obsession with progress" consumerism and capitalism ma'am
Ok I’m in love with Caitlin!
Oh my god you’re beautiful Caitlin!
I'm literally from Santa Clarita and I never heard this! Fascinating stuff! Great video
The Chandlers, of the LA Times, along with other moneyed individuals helped kill the story soon afterwards. Their endeavors continue to this day, causeways from north to south.
This is very nearly Lex Luthor’s plan in the OG Superman movie
Being self taught has gotten me to having opportunities for scholarships
I dont care about LA. And i dont care about the people that died. Shes hot and the only reason im watching the video
You forgot, or Blocked It Out Of Your Memory, Like The Rest Of Us, that Chinatown had Incest Too. LOL
I would like to see a video on the 1910 hurricane that devastated Galveston Texas. Some of the stories locals tell are pretty extreme, and I'd like to know how much of it is true. The papers in the area supposedly ran a story about nuns gathering up children, and finding all of their bodies interlinked. They also supposedly had to burn bodies on the beach, because when they tried to bury the unrecognizable bodies at sea (they claimed to have nowhere else to put them), they would show up mangled on the beach weeks later. There is also the story about the graveyards all being destroyed in the flood, and entire cemeteries having to be relocated. Fact and fiction get mixed up in the area, especially now that there are "ghost tours" that hype everything up to scare tourists. A video that goes into what is actually known about the disaster vs. what is told by the tourist industry would be interesting.
You used to be alot darker and cooler. Haven't checked in in a while. But you gotta get the target audience…going for a Mr.Ballen thing? it's a good idea. Anyhoo.
Dam !
Reminds me of the Malpasset Dam Disaster in 1959, which, BTW, was the impetus for the posthmous wedding law we have in France. You could certainly do a video about it.
Why are the "Hello Girl's" not called Heroines…Just wondering…
I live by Cedar Rapids and my uncle and aunt live there it was not a good scene and they are still rebuilding
I love that I found your channel! Listening to you talk is fascinating! Thanks! Glad you're there! First video of yours I've found, and I look forward to checking out all your others.
I live in lompoc California just an hour away from there
Powerful statements of truth and the fact that Dam
This is a very interesting history lesson needs to be taught to people. Thank you its great.
I'm Died.
Why in heaven's name would they honor Mulholland by naming things after him?
Someday I want to play in a band called "Makeshift Morgue."
Oh Tony… he's a damn keeper!
Yes unfortunately I have only just vaguely heard of this partial disaster.
