This kind of thing happened to me once that I’ll never forget. We are a cliff diving in Massachusetts or New Hampshire I think. There is a ton of clips at a bunch of quarries all out in the woods. There was also a rope swing that ejected you off of one of the ledges way out into the lake. I remember my friends calling me and there was a line for the rope swing. So I jumped headfirst dove off of the cliff. I just remember thinking oh shit I fucked up I’m going to die. When I hit the water I completely spread my body out and lean backwards. When I stopped I couldn’t believe it I put my hand in front of me as my eyes were closed not an inch in front of my face were a bunch of rock faces underneath the water. Street slow Mo actually my only thoughts were other than to spread out like that. Shit I’m going to die and I just accepted it.
