MISSING: Two Super Cute Puppies :(
Spread The Viralist

It’s hard to believe that we’ve had our puppies for 5 months now. They’re 8 months old and have been great…we’d definitely fallen in love with them. But then…one evening they disappeared into the corn field and didn’t come back…

  1. We hope you have a great long weekend! And I forgot to mention, the TAKE YOUR HOUSE BACK COURSE is now open and we'll be doing another All Day Live Declutter as part of the course on Saturday, Sept. 18, 8am-4pm CDT (replay available!). This was a HUGE success when we did it earlier this year and we'd love to help you, too! More details & schedule here: https://cli.re/takeyourhouseback

  2. Glad you found them. My husband got me two Cracker Barrel rocking chairs for our front porch & our first Lab chewed the pieces of wood that rocked the chairs completely off of both chairs. She also would go into the near by woods & bring up huge logs to chew on. Oh & my husband could not keep the wiring for lights on his trailer hitch working because she chewed through them. I could go on & on. LOL She was such a GREAT dog though!

  3. imagine if there was a national emergency these people freak out over a dog being a dog this is why america is the way it is with snowflake karens everywhere.

  4. We have two Yorkies that are inside dogs… a year old and a year &1/2 . They have chewed up two pair of my glasses that were on the end table, And 8 Gift Cards we had just got the day before and had left them on the end table. My husband is a Pastor and one Sunday morning he laid his sermon on the end table before going over to Church and left it for only a couple minutes, but it was all chewed up by the time he came back. They love to chew on anything wooden. :p
I'm glad you got your dogs back & were able to get the wire fencing installed. It's easy to get so attached to these lovable creatures. 🙂

  5. If I see one negative Nancy in here that doesn't understand rural living and dogs it will not be fun for them lol. The pups wandered, the situation was remedied, it's all good??.

  6. Make sure the girls teach them the basics. Sit, stay, come, etc. once they have those down good then they should come when you call them. Make sure a treat is always involved. Sounds like they are good pups and looks like they just love the kids so I don’t think they will ever go to far. At least not on purpose. I would for sure always put them up at night.

  7. I'm so glad they are OK – my heart skipped a beat when I saw the video title. I was thinking about an electric fence. Our yard and porch are fully fenced for our 9 month old coonhound/border collie/etc rescue, and he's fantastic, but we have little kiddos who sometimes leave a gate open and he happily bounds away from the yard more often than not. I can get him back with a treat (yay), and our street isn't too busy, but we're close to a couple of very busy streets. I am not sure if they can work across a driveway, though? I'll have to look into it. I'd love the extra bit of insurance, and be able to work in the front yard and let him be with us when appropriate. Come to think of it, I wonder if we could also do it and get collars for our escapee (declawed, only have half their teeth) kitty cats… haha (sort of joking; one should have been named Houdini because he's so good at dashing out of partially-open door when he wants to go out). I will say this puppy is a phenomenal help with my decluttering efforts. He chews EVERYTHING. Our last dog was a corgi who developed degenerative myelopathy at age 10, so between his petite stature and eventual limited mobility, tables and counters (and then couches) were safe places for food and toys. This guy is made out of springs. He can demolish toys in an instant! I have reset parts of our home to be "dog-free" for the kids and the cats until he's older and calmer (he's an inside dude), but it's JUST like the bikes. If he can get it and has a few unsupervised minutes? It's gone or ruined. It's getting better now that we're starting to see the other side of extreme puppyhood, but we still have several choppy months ahead of us! He's worth all of it.

  8. Our lab ate some brand new clothes I bought my little girls. He also chewed a chunk out of the trunk of our peach tree and the vinyl siding on the corner of our house. He was so full of energy that our small children couldn't play in the yard because he would knock them over or they would get whipped by his tail. We were not in the market for a dog but he found us. We eventually rehomed him to a duck hunter. Never saw him so happy. He jumped right up in the truck and didn't look back. ❤️

  9. We have this system. We trained the dogs with the phrase “zap zap” to let them know they are close to a space limit. Training took about 10 minutes, no joke, 10 minutes. Of course they eventually learned they could run really fast through the zone. However they don’t do this very often. It has kept them safe and out of harms way when we cannot have our eyes on them. Our dogs are very well trained but this system has afforded us a layer of safety for them that puts me at ease as like you we have a large piece of property.

  10. So are you actually telling me there was finally a project that Tom was able to get done in "2 days"? Lol it's the worst thing when your dogs turn off. We have two dogs that are both part Jack Russell. We never wanted Jack Russell dogs, but we managed to wind up with two rescues that were both part. Seems like some weird little switch goes off in their brains from time to time that says "must run like the wind and damn the consequences!" Lol ours are now 13 and 15 years old, and they still do it from time to time. Glad yours are home safe and you have your awesome invisible fence and place.

  11. I think it's a bad idea. Here's why: A relative of my husband, who is a lineman, went to do some work in an area where there was a dog who had an a shock collar and when the electricity went out the shock collar was triggered and didn't stop shocking the dog and they didn't know what was wrong with the dog. POOR DOG!!!! The owner finally figured out what was wrong, but that was cruel. I don't remember some details, but I do not like those things.

  12. So it took 2 years to pay for our sofa years ago and we came home from work to find a cushion chewed apart. My husband was pissed and he put the stuffing in the dog bowl and said that's your dinner tonight! Glad you found your buddies ?
