TESLA ITSELF SHOULD BE A COMPLETE FAILURE BECAUSE TO QUICK CHARGE ONE TAKES 480 VOLTS THREE PHASE AND A LOT OF CURRENT AC TO BE TURNED IN THE 480 VOLTS DC TO BE ABLE TO CHARGE IT WITHIN A COUPLE HOURS TO CHARGE ONE ON AMERICAN HOUSEHOLD 120 VOLTS TAKES THE BEST PART OF A WEEK TO ONLY PARTIALLY CHARGE ONE MOST HOUSES IN AMERICA ARE NOT WIRED WELL ENOUGH TO CHARGE A TESLA IN ANY KIND OF TIMELY MANNER AND WITH OUR ANCIENT SUPPOSEDLY FAILING POWER GRID WE ARE NOT AT ALL READY TO TURN THE COMPLETELY ELECTRIC VEHICLES THAT USE HUGE AMOUNTS OF COAL URANIUM WIND AND SOLAR TO CHARGE A WHOLE NATION'S WORTH OF PURE ELECTRIC VEHICLES IT MAY BE FINE AS A NOVELTY BUT SOMEWHERE DOWN THE LINE HOPEFULLY PEOPLE WAKE UP AND REALIZE IT'S JUST ANOTHER SCAM ANOTHER FAIL DESIGNED TO SUCK PEOPLE IN AND SUCK THEIR WALLETS DRY AND THIS IS FROM MY KNOWLEDGE AS AN ELECTRICAL ENGINEER IS YOUR HOUSE WIRED FOR $480 VOLTS THREE PHASE CURRENT ALL RIGHT WAY MORE THAN 200 AMPS SINGLE PHASE IT TAKES 150 KW THREE PHASE AT 480 VOLTS TO PROPERLY CHARGE A TESLA THAT TRANSLATES INTO 225 AND A HALF AMPS AT 480 VOLTS
AMERICA NEEDS TO GET SMART AND EITHER COMPLETELY REWIRE IT'S ELECTRIC GRID OR COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT ELECTRIC VEHICLES THE UTILITY COMPANIES NEEDS TO WAKE UP AND TELL PEOPLE ALL THE ELECTRICITY YOU'RE SAVING ON LED LIGHT BULBS WILL NOT MAKE UP FOR THE FEROCIOUS APPETITE FOR ELECTRICITY TO CHARGE THESE VEHICLES
