In my country getting earrings is a tradition so I have had them since I was a littlie kid 2 yrs old ig but I did get a infections by these earrings the skin became rough and green and bloody my advice is wear REAL gold earrings and you will never get a infection.
The first time I got my ear pierced I was five I was so dramatic I fake cried then the second time I didn’t even flinch
Wait I had this before but much smaller, so quited warring earrings(like it's a job)
I had my ears done I was so scared

Fun fact:think that pure gold earrings with more care can help the ear not get infected and hurt. I wear real gold earrings and the reason I have never gotten them infected is that I clean my ear near my earrings and if they are not real gold, I only wear them for special occasions and take them off when I’m done. If you have earrings good luck and stay safe I hope you NEVER get an infection
