Top ten of Halloween movies based on real events
Geez.
Imagine seeing Qui-Gon Gin and Han Solo in a film together, well, you got number 9 on this very list
Both United 93 and The Perfect Storm broke everyone's hearts.
incredible scenes😁😁😁😁
Tom Hanks & Lieutenant Dan, only just realised they were both in Apollo 13.
I am so glad that "Unstoppable" was selected. That is one of my favorite movies to date. But an Honorable Mention should have been given to Chris Pine's "The Finest Hours." That was based on real events too. That ship being split in half still gives me chills.
Titanic is just some old lady telling someone about this one time she got laid
I saw an excellent Canadian film, "Hiroshima," starring Richard Masur as Leslie Groves. (But it might have been a miniseries…)
What about " Disaster On The Potomac? " doesn't anybody remember that one?
I like Trace Adkins in Deep Water Horizon
My text tone is “Houston we have a problem” said by Tom Hanks in Apollo 13 and it sound weird every time I hear it now in the movie 😂
A movie with Harrison Ford and Liam Neeson flopped? How does that happen?
Were it not for disasters, Ron Howard would have no work.
"Titanic" should have #1. And how the heck "Apollo 13" get on the list?!
How's Titanic not #1…????
I've seen 8 of the 10 movies listed. Never have I scored so high on a mojo list.
I understand why it wasn't included, since it was a TV miniseries, but HBO's Chernobyl deserves an honorable mention. It was absolutely amazing.
About #1: You should have mentioned Gary Sinise.
Log! Log! Log! it's a classic, but it's a war movie.
Schindlers List should be #1 or at least on the list. WTF
I love Titanic!
World Trade Center?
WatchMojo needs to do a part two for the movies like this.
Titanic was junk. WAY too much Jack Rose Jack Rose Jack Rose!!!!!
The Perfect Storm was based and filmed in my hometown. George Clooney was very cool with the locals and played a lot of pick up basketball with the lost fishermen’s sons.
What the hell Titanic should have been number one
Titanic better be number one
Could have used the "Midway" move for the Pearl Harbor depiction in this coundown.
Where’s 2012 on this list? Oh wait it didn’t happen..
12:44 The LATE Bill Paxton… Show some respect or I'll serve you a greasy pork sandwich served in a dirty ashtray
At 11:51 I'll never let go of you Jack turned into take your cold dead hand off of me loser as she pry's his frozen fingers from hers while telling her dead lover I got to go, I see a boat and starts screaming " Help, help white woman in trouble.. HELP! " And Jack goes to live on a farm out in the country…. The end
i dont know. but for me the worst case scenario can happen in most of this Movie. but as i remembre only Alive did include Canibalism in real.. so id say this is worst case for me. id rather try to save myself and die while try then Eat someone i maybe know.. ^^ but hey.. when im maybe in this situation. everythign could change… cant tell nothign untill u have got to this point aint it.
"Apollo 13" doesn't qualify for this list. It wasn't a disaster, only a would-be disaster that thankfully never happened. That the vessel never reached the moon and everyone involved had a harrowing experience does not qualify as a "disaster".
Never travel with Tom Hanks.
