10. Being loved is truly how we gain our worth, even rats. It's so WONDERFUL to see – rats being loved. I'm afraid of rats, I've never touched one, but I would love to get over my fear and maybe one day, have one as a pet.

11. The only bad thing about pet rats is that they just don't live long enough. Even knowing this I have been heartbroken at least three times and decided that I wasn't gonna have another one.

19. We had rats for pets and they were wonderful. They would ride on my shoulders when i would walk around the house or in my sweater pockets. So sweet and very clean. This makes me miss them.

24. I am a rat lover myself and having rat for pets is my life. rats are my entire world. They are the sweetest most caring and smart creatures on earth. To anyone who thinks rats are gross screw you, Maybe try owning two and you'll see how sweet and smart they are. I love rats.

29. I love the videos of the rats which is why I wouldn't have rats. I would fall in love and they have such short lifespans. I couldn't face knowing my heart was going to get broken that often.

32. Gaww I miss my rats. Thinking of getting another. Mine where treated like cats. Had A litter box, and an open cage. He'd sleep in my mams hair in the morning after I went to school and would come running to me when I got home. Such sweet, socable animals.

36. I has a lady rat Nikita like 20years ago and I still mis her to this day. They’re really loving ,sweet and intelligent

37. Yeah! they are smart and playful and affectionate, they're easy to get attached to….. they have a short lifespan

38. I have no problem with rats and it's a good thing because I was asked to hold someone's rat while they ran back to grab something from home….the rat crawled down the front of my shirt to hide like he did with his people lol.
