1. One of my dogs nearly decapitated herself this way when she stepped on the switch. I barely caught it in time.

   One of the causes is moving window rocker switches to the armrest when they use to be embedded in side of the doors, where they are harder to hit by accident.

   A second are switches you push DOWN on to raise the window. The ones you lift up to raise and push down on to lower are far safer.

   Powered car windows need a safety device as elevator doors have, so any restriction in motion will make the window reverse back down again immediately.

9. Something isn't right, these are power windows, so there had to be keys to provide power. So a kid was playing in a car with keys, and there's no faul play. Maybe not faul play, but serious neglect in the parents end. They deserve jail, fot this avoidable situation.

12. I have a Toyota Sienna, and the automatic window will instantly go back down if it hits something. It's a safety feature.
