1. What’s interesting is that the christian prophesied end times have several similarities but a number of distinct differences. Like for example what sounds like the Islam Mahdi sounds like the christian antichrist (in terms of how he is supposed to rise up, unify the world, and rule for 7 years, but is a deceiver). The “beast” that rises out of the sea works with the antichrist in christian end times prophesy. The ‘mark’ given by the beast is the mark of the beast and is, instead of a good mark, marks you for Hell. The river Euphrates, instead of having gold, holds the 4 angels who betrayed God and will be released to kill ⅓ of the earth. Not taking a stance on one or the other, but find the differences very interesting in how they conflict and how it seems the deceit of many will have to be from these contradictions. Christians will reject the mark, etc.
