Natural hazards don’t have to become disasters. With investments in resilient infrastructure, the world can protect communities and individuals from the devastation caused by earthquakes, tsunamis and other extreme weather events. Mami Mizutori, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Disaster Risk Reduction, discusses how the world can prepare for a safer and more sustainable future. World Tsunami Awareness Day, marked each year on 5 November, is an opportunity to raise awareness of the value of investing in resilient infrastructure, early warning systems, and education to save people and protect their assets against tsunami risk in the future.

Great advice but impossible to implement in banana republics.. climate change, pandemics, wars for water, remaining dry land above sea level rise, food, maybe even air will be commonplace unless a preemptive coup by a visionary global force is carried out. Democracy and its devil – may – care , "break all the sacrosanct natural laws you want" era has long outlived its welcome.
Order has to be imposed or anarchy will rule with an Iron fist
Good job
