Rigging Fails, Hardware fails, Failures of good judgement, and much more. It’s all in here. This is the behind the scenes stuff from the vault. I got my first GoPro camera mounted on my helmet in December 2016, and I’ve been filming ever since. I have only used a small fraction of it for videos up to this point.
I have to be honest with you:
a. I am really glad to have this footage and be able to look back on it.
b. I feel like I have really come a long way in my own knowledge and skill set since starting EC. I look back and see a ton of things that I do differently nowadays. In trying to explain things to others, I have greatly deepened my own understanding.

And the guys is already in a cemetery
Way to many mistakes to be made by a “professional “…..
I worked for a company in nj called hart 2hart gutters and when I was an installer they made me throw two baby squirrels 3storys to there death and that will always haunt me. Your a good person amen.
As a fellow arborist I respect you for your knowledge and admitting when u f…. up we all do be safe
A lot of these should've been pieced out smaller. Take your time and cut it small if it looks sketchy or your not 100% comfortable with the cut.
you can eat them there baby squirrels
Not gonna hire you!
In the first vid your lucky you didn't kill some of the people below. Oh…… nevermind, they were already dead.
Watched a man cut his rope in about a 70 foot pine and backflip out to the ground, he impaled himself on a branch on the ground through his stomach….let’s just say it Wasn’t pretty
Haha bucketbabies
Minimum rigging is always better. Less things to worry about means less mistakes. That being said every tree is different and making the right decision only becomes apparent after years or experience and or mistakes.
Yes, someone else besides me hates using clove hitches, for the same reasons; they jam and slip.
Appreciate that you showed your mistakes, but I will admit that the lessons from them are beyond me. I am not climbing trees to cut parts off, or using a bucket on a truck.
Stay safe!
I feel like I'm destined to be in this video
Sounds like this is not your true occupation. Tree cutting is not that difficult. Your viewers believe otherwise, they are “ educated”
Destroying a tree with a used nest in it is a criminal offense in my country
Hope you don't die or kill someone some day. Maybe be more careful? 🙃
OK what happened to the baby squirrels???
This video makes me feel alot better about myself! Most professionals wouldn't dream of sharing their fails… it happens, and it's gut wrenching….
ON MY GOD PLEASE GOD TAKE CARE OF THE PEOPLE THAT GOT HIT IN THAT GRAVE YARD
How are you a professional with so many mistakes bro. Lol you posta know better
we need more honesty vids like these …we all make mistakes….thanks for sharing
1:38~気の中に巣をした動物たちはその後どうなりますか???
The things I learned operating the bucket truck really paid off climbing. As you know, you can risk a lot more comfortably from the bucket. I found the limitations quicker, and took bigger pieces in the bucket than I would ever do attached to the tree. I am a much better climber now after using the bucket truck for so long. Fun footage 👍
I've never seen so many OSHA violations in one video good job lol
Buddy,
God must have a really long-term plan for you.
Be safe.
Could the incident caused at 11:08 be prevented?
That vertical zip line failure load looked like a 2 ton block at least … then add velocity PHEW
Out of this whole video u helping the little ones I'd buy u a beer any time
What do the sidecuts affect?
I've got you waay beat if the cemetery was your worse accident. Although I couldn't make sense of why you used the redirect that failed. Hard to say not knowin'.
Did the first tree duplicate?
👍
Just so many unknown variables. Dangerous work.
