Video from the ferry disaster off South Korea shows many of the teenage passengers on board were slow to grasp the true danger of what was happening. The father of one who died discovered video on his son’s cell phone that captured the tragedy as it unfolded. Scott Pelley reports.

I remembered this, I mostly remembered the statement their president said after she left office. It was something about it happening cuz there's a "political cult" in South Korea but everyone knows the massive death toll could've been prevented but the government was slow to act.
It was pathetic how she blames it on something that doesn't have a solid base or a statement and mostly because she was ousted from being president and not because of the incident.
Everyone is so ducking stupid. Tf. Ship is sinking and instead of running up and jumping out, they try smashing bulletproof windows.

So sad and enraging. The kids had a chance to escape but the staff kept telling them to go back to their cabins. It was just like 9/11 when people were ordered to remain in their offices up on the 98th floor instead of trying to escape the building.
I remember this. The crew jumped off and left everyone on board. Could’ve been avoided but the crew were selfish and should be charged with all those deaths
