  1. Wait. She put her Mother into a nursing home, but took on a ton of animals to care for?? 🤷‍♀️ 🤦‍♀️
Aides are available to help come into the home to keep loved ones at home. There is funding and grants especially for elderly care at home.

  2. There's no such thing as a dog that "hates men." If your dog hates a specific type of person, either your dog was abused or you are literally training it to hate men. I've only ever heard women say this nonsense, I've never heard men say it. Ladies, owning a dog that "hates men" doesn't make you look like a badass-bitch. It makes you look crazy.

  3. I love how they say turkeys are just like people and right after they have a message stating they boil the eggs and feed them back to the turkeys. Turkey's are cannibals, just like people!

  4. We had wild turkeys that would come and eat. They all follow in a line. The biggest is the leader then the next biggest 1 is in the middle, then the 3rd is at the end. They’d able to fly, and never leave others behind! I don’t eat meat, and since then I quit buying turkey meat. Vegetables are great! Hehe

  5. From an animal welfare point of view, wouldn't it be better to Quickly kill the animals when they get old? In nature they would be eaten by predator, but in this sanctuary they will die of old age, which isn't really a thing in nature.
So the old animals are propably in pain, but they don't show it, because in nature, that means being a target.

  6. I very much doubt that the birds feel in any way friendly towards the dog. But I think the stress the dog's putting on them is probably good for them. He gives them a reason to cooperate and neutralize a threat to the flock, like they'd handle a snake.

You just better hope the dog never gets a taste for chicken. As long as there's plenty of food and 3 or 4 birds at a time can hold him off. I saw a couple what-I-assume-are-young-roosters keeping the dog occupied for a stretch, I don't think it's a problem, and puts more muscle on the birds.

Make no mistake. High-dollar real estate we're lookin' at. Has a freshwater stream through the property. Look at that heavy-duty fencing. More to keep out humans than critters. I wonder if this is kind of a tax shelter…

Never heard that about turkeys and how they think, or anything about Native Americans foregoing their flesh. Not sure that's not made-up. When it comes to Native Americans, I think it's more about recognizing the animal also has a spirit, but your need is great. OK. 2-minute search indicates that Native Americans did raise turkeys for their feathers in the long-ago, rather than for eating, but that doesn't mean that all tribes avoided eating turkey.

  7. Chihuahuas are one owner dog anyway you can have two people and that blame dog will pick one person and that one person is everything to them. So this dog don't like me doesn't make him unadoptable not when it comes to women. I'm glad to hear that you're never given it away. Cuz that just really messes with their little crazy psyche.

  8. How did you get to keep your farm? Usually Medicaid Medicare takes possession legally of anything of value property boats cars that they can squeeze a dollar out of to cover nursing home costs. So did you sell your land at least 5 years before your mother went into the nursing home? I just asking cuz I wondered how you made such a big loophole unless she was financially independent on her own. And no government help

  9. I love the whole video I love that woman, just beautiful, a person recognizing the beauty in animals and giving them love and a great life ! Thank you for doing what u do !!

  10. I'm sorry there were plenty of Native Americans that ate turkeys. Where did she get her information? Any specific group of Native Americans, a tribe?
