3. I rode a hot air balloon once. It was smooth experience until landing. The basket tipped over & everyone fell. I felt bad for the senior citizens. Will likely not ride again. One and done. Lol

    Hot air balloons are too suspect for me, you have barely any control. I've skydived 100x and still would NEVER ride in a hot air balloon

15. Pilot! That's a joke. The guy running the flame, a stoker if you will, can only control the vertical ascent and descent of the balloon. All other movements are up to God. There is no pilot on a hot air balloon.

31. I used to own a hot air balloon. But I lost interest after seeing too many accidents and near misses. The only control you have is a slow up or down. The wind direction takes you where it will.

33. You would expect accidents to happen more in developing countries with less regulations, but if you look up the statistics there a suspiciously high proportion in the US, and quite a lot in several other developed countries too. This really needs to be looked into and addressed
