   i have a soft spot for rats. i have 2 myself and whenever i see their little noses tryna sniff me is just the cutest thing just makes me wanna squish them! very cool that she did this.

6. Rats are beyond a doubt, one of the absolutely best pets ever. Clean, smart and affectionate, the worst part about owning a rat, is that their life span is so short, mostly 2-3 years.

   I got my first rat in 1968, Pee Wee. I haven't had any rats for a few years now, but if one needed rescuing..I'd be the first one to save them. I saved a beautiful palomino hooded rat, Edwina, that had been born without eyes. Like Klunke, she was meant to be snake food. Edwina was probably the smartest rat I've ever had. I would call her name, and she would stand up and listen to my voice, and usually come running straight to me. But, like so many rats, she developed a tumor and I had to have her PTS.

I also had pet rats they keep having babies every month and now I had like 30+ because there are ppl who had cat's alot at my neighborhood and I can't go somewhere else because of lockdown 😂 and Their so cute❤️ if I said they might be a little fatter than the ones at the video😅 but their healthy and fine…they like to play around alot..they jump around,lick me😅, sleep unside-down😅, sometimes they even sleep next to my cats👀such miracles ✨ and they also like being pet alot.. Everytime I went downstairs to feed them they we're like "here! Over here!!"…"move out here comes the food!!"…"make way for the human!!"😂👌 Bonus: They are not disgusting..some ppl just tent to look the other side‼️

15. I love rats, I just don't have the room for them at the moment. I have rescued mice that were meant for food and they were great, super sweet little animals.

19. Ok I didn't expect the ending 🙁 I have 4 rats and they already have 1 year old. they are amazing but You must live with one thing in mind: they have a short life, really short.
    Maybe for you they stick a few years, for them you stay for all their lives. This story was amazing

22. It is sadly true that those rodents that suffer any kind of problem that may make them bad for the pet trade end up as Feeders for other pets.
    Make sure you know where you purchase feeders
