My long dead Labrador, RIP Lince, he had a terrifying fear of vets, just the word sent shivers down his spine and you could literally tell the poor dog was having a breakdown as we neared the vet. My mother thought it was funny as heck, I was a little kid hugging Lince trying to inspire some confidence into him.
Always wondered what caused Lince to fear vets, these pictures seem filled with happy pets.

These pics were all very cute but also remember that veterinarian is one of the professions with the highest suicide rates. Be kind to your vets, they see a lot of heavy shit.

being a vet is a very noble and honorable profession. the good days can be very uplifting. but, kids, be aware. the bad days can crush your soul. having to euthanize 7 or 8 animals in a day can be very disheartening.

we all shared roast turkey yesterday. the cannonball triplets passed out like… cannonballs. a few others got shirty because of limited space. i may need to upgrade the bed. hope everyone had a good day, too.

Didn't get photos but did get a story. Brought one of our 2.5 nearly 3 months old kittens into the vet for an emergency visit same day we took his mother & oldest brother and sister to be spayed and neutered. Baby needed surgery for the broken back leg with a very bad infection, they had to take the leg. Vet told my mom & oldest brother (when they came to pick up the baby) that as soon as they turned off the sedation meds Angel got up and tried to walk off the table.
Angel is the sweetest and calmest kitten we've ever had the pleasure of having. He's gone from outside kitten to growing up an indoor cat due to the leg.
I always thought of getting a tripod cat in the future, looks like I didn't need to start looking for one.
With all the bullshit and negativity that's on the web, it's nice to see pictures that can give you a smile
