Dean literally looks and acts like my Basset hound Skippy. Remember him befriending my bros lab white mouse Ichabod. Mouse was scared at first but happily they became playmate. The experiment would not not have killed him and bro is planning on keeping him after project finished. Sadly a week or month before the project commence one of our cat Fierce ate him. Saw his feet sticking out as he is chewing him. I had to spank the cat to spit what remains of him. Skippy seing this cries at mutilated body and got irrritated and bit our cat out of anger. They later made ammends but I see confusion to our dog why would his friend eat his other friend. Of course he had no clue that cat eats mouse.

On one hand I don't believe that a dog would shout "you're a turtle" at a turtle, but I have a Basset and she isn't the brightest candle in the pack so I could see her shouting "you're a turtle" at a turtle.

My basset was the bestest best boy ever. He loves people. He loved all of our neighbors because he greeted them when he ran away a few times because he once broke open our gate or we left it open. My dog now hates people but luckily she likes animals. My basset killed every animal in sight if he could get them except for one of my cats. He liked one cat and one cat only. Even though they never saw each other cause they were separated

Honestly Dean and Chief have had a positive effect on my mental health after being quarantined. I have had four male Bassett hounds in my life and each of them were unique but almost the same. Best friends I have ever known.

Basset hpunds are hunting dogs. Their natural instinct is to bark at animals they find so the hunters can shoot them
Why on earth would people dislike this video?
The last Basset my parents had was always in combat with the rabbits. He couldn't catch one if his life depended on it. His best friend was a stray female white cat. shortly after the dog died, the cat disappeared as well. I wish I could have found her so I could have buried side by side – they were together in life that way..
