  1. human themselves might be indirectly causing this harsh weather (climate change and global warming). It is therefore not intervening but doing what u can to Nature on reversing the damage caused by human.

  2. humans think they are above nature, setting rules like no interference, who do we think we are, we are also part of the eco system, part of nature. We can decide what we do, to help or not to help..

  3. They didn’t intervene. They just decided to create some steps into the gulley for fun. The penguins just happened to see this and climbed up it. That’s that 🤷‍♂️

  4. That rule of not intervening is lack & stupid! It could work 300 years ago when the garbage humans haven't intervened in 95%of nature! But these days… a large % of disgusting humans had intervened & destroyed at least 90% of earth's nature! So that rule makes no sense! That's not intervening, it's called comun sense & saving the nature that hasn't been destroyed by greedy people

  5. Well the thing is that we have interfered so much with nature, in so many negative ways….interfering to help a wild animal (in such a tiny scale, just a handful of individuals) will not do any harm. Also, it's in our nature to be altruistic, so technically it's a natural thing to do.

  6. These animals are endangered because of us, helping them in situations like this is definitely the right thing to do.

This isn’t effecting natural selection, falling down a hill doesn’t change genes – and it’s not intervening between predator & prey.

  7. I am completely okay with them intervening. Yeah, they are supposed to observe only, but they got their footage and there is no point in just leaving them to die.

  8. Thats the human equivalent of siting on your butt and NOT evaluating prior to an imminent natural disaster.
Letting a cougar or bear stalk and close distant and charge you and u just readily guve up, sit on the ground with a depy Patrick Star face.
To any trolls: But if your not in the right state of mind it wont matter you anyhow.

  9. For those who argue and say the crew should've not intervened.
When you, your friend or loved one is in a car accident or caught in the aftermath of natrual disaster, Emergency Services shouldnt bother rescuing them. Dont ATTEMPT any aid of any kind. B/c its interferring with nature. Its their time to die, right? Even if there's a tangible way to prevent untimely/needless death.
I hate when people don't consider the feesibel/tangible possibility that HELPING an animal from an avoidable death.
Its why fight or flight instincts are encoded in living things.

  10. This isn't intervening with nature. I mean, as humans we intervene by saving human lives even when "nature" has intended for them to go so why stop at just humans? Humans being a complex species, placed on Earth, is maybe also intended by nature so we CAN intervene during times like these to save lives of all species. Stopping an animal from hunting is intervening because that's how nature intended animals to get their food but saving lives, no matter who it is, is definitely part of human nature so it's normal.

  11. Typically, I cannot watch documentaries because I always want to intervene. But this footage melts my heart enough to melt the polar ice caps. I am so overwhelmed with love and joy for these crew members and penguins. They saved their lives all while not even hugging a penguin (which, to be honest, I would have tried to do and probably lost an eye)

  12. i wouldnt feel guilty as saying this intervene with nature. because human has been intervene with nature for more than hundred years. what about destroying this whole planet for bussines?
the crew intervene in a good way.
