16. Looks very camp and cheese-tastic now but back in the day this was a major shift towards a grittier more realistic bond. License to Kill was almost like the Daniel Criag Casino Royale reboot of the time in how different it was. Just harder to see it now :/

17. I loved that movie when it came out because Bond was thrown in a different world and it showed his brutal and ruthless nature because the villains had hurt/killed his friends…
    Especially since I watched it in Paris back then and it was the full uncensored version…
    It's the only time I actually found Bond scary and I don't scare easily…
    That shows how great Timothy Dalton is as an actor…

Couple things 1) 5 star rating to the stripper who committed to her craft in the middle of a shotgun/poolcue/swordfish melee, 2) Del Toro gives the same iconic lowered-head-raised-eye look in every movie and it's fuckin dynamite every time at any age, 3) nobody really cares the first time the shotgun goes off and destroys part of the bar, everyone freezes the last time it goes off and destroys part of the bar

    I remember watching this with my friend as kids and having a huge debate about how shotguns work. My friend thought it "shot a bunch of bullets at the same time like a nerf gun" and I thought it had to be a mini grenade launcher the way it kept blowing things up. Decades later but I'm still not going to tell him he was right lol

20. Dalton had Zero charisma and had to endure absurd story lines and characters. No wonder the franchise almost failed at this time.

24. Worst Bond ever. Always looked paranoid. No spy would get anywhere with his demeanor

25. The song playing in the bar, Dirty Love by Tim Feehan, I play it at work sometimes along with several Bond tracks.
