  1. I have no doubt the hand of God played a roll in this miracle…. But I believe we have to give credit to the bear ,and all creatures who are capable of true compassion and empathy. We have to snap out of this egocentric view which puts us "humans" on some lofty pedestal above all other creatures. All life has a certain level of being sentient. We are not so different from our brothers and sisters in the animal kingdom.not to mention the plant ,and mineral kingdoms…..OK ,…for some that last part is a real stretch…. but time will tell…..

  2. It could very well have been a young bear glad to have a little company! I’m sure when they had a family and then we’re sent on their way a friend would be a good thing especially a non threatening one!

  3. Oh what ego and hubris we humans have. Anthropocentric at it's, um, finest??? We see lots of cross-species mothering video. Sometimes prey with predator combos. Weird. Why would you NOT believe that a momma bear would do same with human child. What else explains the facto survival of the child? Do that Sherlock Holmes thing about what is left. Also young children, generally speaking, haven't bought into the human species supremacy concept that can surround them. Yet. For a channel that should understand animal emotional life, you'd think that you would actually have an informed opinion about it rather than leaning into 'the child's fantasy' idea. Or 'How can that be? An act of God. Yeah, right. More like an act of The Bear.
