Thank God for these people! You would think any decent human wouldโve done the same, and yet how many people saw this dog in the state and did nothing. Itโs hard to fathom how many uncaring people they are. Thankfully itโs offset by caring people like these heroes that saved him.

It's just so unfair.
You could see when he started to receive veterinary treatment and he obviously realised that this was people who clearly cared about him and were trying to help by the fact he felt comfortable enough to let out a big yawn in their presence. That shows that he was starting to relax and just let down his guard.๐๐ค
You have a beautiful spirit and heart to match. So very glad you kept this precious soul close and safe with you. Love is always returned by creatures saved from pain and loneliness !!

The shoestring as a makeshift collar is far too tight, along with bullet shrapnel and being hit by a car, how much more cruelty can this poor soul have to take? Why does the so called intelligent species be so cruel?
On a lighter note, just look at his transformation! The lady who helped Gus along with the many ardent supporters really do restore my faith in humanity.
Heaven is probably OVERFLOWING with dogs because they are just so forgiving and full of love. ๐โค๐
