Ok I have to ask as I am not from anyplace near the ocean, are the ramps really that slick or is it a case of I thought it was in park when I got out? Because we don’t have anything even close to slick enough on the lake ramps that I have been on to even need 4×4 if you don’t back off the end of the ramp.
I wonder if any boats on trailers are backed until they float, bow hook from trailer winch pulls up on trailer tongue, rear end of truck lifts up, truck pulled into deeper water, rear tires off ground.

Why didn't the dude with the "Z71" Chevy put the truck in neutral?!?!?! Them back tires were locked up!! It was in Park!!!
Some lucky punter is getting himself a 'bargain truck' on ebay real soon I wager.
Someone should sue the truck makers for not putting rudders on trucks. How else are you supposed to steer while they are under water.
