Fukushima disaster: Japan to release contaminated water into ocean

Spread The Viralist

Japan plans to release water that was contaminated in the 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster into the Pacific Ocean.
A team of inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency has been assessing the safety of the plan.

  1. Ignore the clickbait headlines, the water released will be treated and will actually contain less radioactive material than the ocean water it's joining.

  2. I do 5 presentations a week on Fukushima and research expedition each year for months , you can see them on my site and playlist , Fukushima is a major event .

  3. these nuclear plants affect dna. affects generations. this is going to contaminate their fish suppliesand the sea life itself, utterdisgrce japan DONT BUILD THINGS that are dangerous for our planet thatharms all life. governments dont give a dmn about people on the planet oreco systems, wildlifem sealife, birdlife

  4. All over the world, nuclear facilities are releasing tritium into air or seas.

La Hague (France, 2015): 13,700,000,000,000,000 Bq

    Sellafield (UK, 2015): 1,540,000,000,000,000 Bq

    Wolsong (Korea, 2016): 52,000,000,000,000 Bq

Fuqing NPP (China, 2020): 52,000,000,000,000 Bq (liquid) and 800,000,000,000 Bq (steam)

Sanmen NPP (China, 2020): 20,000,000,000,000 Bq (liquid) and 400,000,000,000 Bq (steam)

Under the Japan plan, Fukushima will release 860,000,000,000,000 Bq of tritium over 30 years or more (at most 22 TBq per year). The tritium concentration of the water is lowered to 1/7 or less of the WHO drinking water quality standard.

Radioactive elements other than tritium from Fukushima are sufficiently removed by ALPS treatment under the IAEA standards. IAEA support that clearly.

Why only Japan cannot emit tritium? That's so unfair.

If you deny IAEA, you should show the scientific basis.
