India’s Prime Minister has described the deaths of 13 women and girls who fell into a well while they were at a wedding as “heart-wrenching”.
Narendra Modi said he was praying for the swift recovery of ten people who were injured in the incident.
The guests were killed when a concrete slab they were dancing on gave way, collapsing into a disused well in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh on Wednesday.

Actually they were sitting on a well cover made of iron. It was during wedding celebration. The iron cover couldn't hold the weight and collapsed and people fell into the well.

How do 13 people die and 10 others get injured from a well that's 5 ft across? Were they all standing on each other's heads? This doesn't add up AT ALL this story could not possibly have happened in the manner it's being reported something else happened.

Definitely, this is a tragedy. I just can’t picture 13 people fitting in the space above the well. Did they all stand shoulder by shoulder?!
