  1. Some people buy African children from their parents as fashion accessories, then there are the true heroes like this lady who truly care about the welfare of their charges. All kudos to you madam, I hope you and your baby lead long and happy lives together although apart.

  2. Hardly an attack. All rodents have incisors that grow indefinitely, like your fingernails. They need to gnaw, in order to keep their ever-growing incisors filed down. In order to keep their teeth trim, rodents will brux, meaning they grind their teeth; as well as chew on hard materials like wood and plastic. If you don't provide a rodent the materials to do so, other than increasing their bruxism, they will chew on anything and everything else around.

  3. Can he life alone in the wild?? nows he what he can eat or what is posion for him,he have no Mother wombat, for show him what he must do in the danger wild, nows he where are his enime? I hoppe he nows what he must do to survive!!

  4. If you love animals — esp. the amazingly diverse and fascinating wild animals — then pls reduce your carbon footprint NOW. Stop eating animal products. Drive less (walk more, bike more). And vote for pols who support a robust green-energy policy.

  5. Damn man !! You need a very big big heart ❤️ to release him back in the wild
If I was in her place would I would have done everything in my power so that he will not leave me
I know from experience because I have released 🐿️ squirrels and rabbits they were like my own family

  6. It just broke my heart to hear this dear woman close to tears. It must be soooooo hard to raise an animal and then have to release it. That takes an enormous amount of love.

  7. And just thirty minutes ago the girlfriend said she needs space… So these feeling hit the spot right now. Letting go of someone you love is really hard, when the time comes that they can be happier without you.

  8. Wombat is one of the cutest animals in the world. My wife and I always dream to have one of our own, but we know it is a wild animal that you can not keep as a family pet. The only situation you can keep a wombat is when you find it in danger, like hit by a car, injured badly.

Luckily in Australia, we got chances to hold and feed baby wombat in some zoom event.

  9. I watched a documentary last week about wombats. They stay with their mums for about 18 months after they come out of the pouch. This little "big" guy has the right temperament to survive. Good on the rehabbers.

  10. The first time my mrs was in Australia and spotted a wombat, she has wanted one 😅 maybe she should help this mob out😄 Great job 😄 was holding back tears with the mrs by the end❤

  11. I’ve raised many wild animals…it’s so awesome to see them leave..but damn it hurts. Occasionally that one comes back just to give a nod, or glance and you know you’ve done a great thing.
