13. So we gonna slide on the fact that a guy picked up what was a believed rock and his first instinct was to sniff it! Why though? For this guy to pick up "not a rock" and sniff it leads me to believe you do this fairly often, so much so it's like muscle memory!

18. Regarding the dark watchers. While i dont know what those are, its quite possible those are some race of people who know the land well enough to navigate without being seen, much of the time.

    Not only is it possible, its happened before.

    The easiest to accept is jungle natives at home in rainforest, who could be pretty much silent, and blend into the forest, as second nature.

    But one more important to comparison here, is scottish picts, who some scholars have accepted were source of a variety of ideas regarding faeries. These were much more wild, in that, like jungle folk, could seem almost mystical, in how they could blend into the nature, or seemingly pop out of it…and were painted up enough that, before proper identification as so called…savages….they simply didnt seem human….and their discoverers filled the gaps with stories. While this is how paranoia works, sometimes people simply cant live without some need to explain what they dont yet understand.

    Occums razor. We need no alien stories to complicate the matter, and while spirits are a plausible conclusion for many, (which is ok. For the most part, it hurts nobody)sometimes humanoid beings we are confused by are simply other humans, different from us. Its happened throughout history.
