On February 21, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin recognized the separatist territories in eastern Ukraine as “independent” and ordered troops into the Russian-backed enclaves. This provoked an international outcry. Three days later, Russia began attacking Ukraine. This two-part documentary gives the background to the escalation of the Ukraine conflict from 2014 to 2021.
Through exclusive interviews with international Ukraine experts, politicians and Ukrainian President Zelenskyy himself, the film provides a multi-perspective view of a war that illustrates the troubled relationship between Europe, the US and Russia.

Ukraine is a beautiful country .I am an Indian from God's own country Kerala.Russia is India's loyal friend but we love you too.why these governments so stupid and rude.why modern man believes in these type of rubbishness. So pathetic Mr.Putin.

I am angry that…by regulation, legislation, rules, laws …we CANNOT step in and prevent a massacre of civilians. This is NOT a school/science debate. This is REAL, it is LIVE and it is a SHAME that we as the rest of the world stand by and watch while a country is invaded, its civilians targeted and killed, its sovereign right to freedom and independence taken away. We should not be, as an average joe citizen, be governed by a UN or influenced by any other legislation that prevents us as democracies, to stop this type of aggression that now involves genocide. We can all see that there is now a deliberate, clear objective to kill civilians, to break down the will of a particular society. When the threat, by the Russian military to execute civilians has now been introduced to "break the moral" of the population, it is time for us, as a member of the average joe citizen group to stand up and be counted. We cannot and should not allow genocide to take place now in our lifetime or anytime in the future.
