Spread The Viralist

A North Carolina couple turned to HGTV’s “Love It or List It” when they decided to fix up their home for future foster children. But now they’re taking the production company to court. In an interview you’ll see only on “CBS This Morning,” the homeowners gave Manuel Bojorquez a firsthand look at the work they say falls short.

  1. This reminds me of the Tim and Eric Movie when they spent their 1-billion dollar budget on a suit made of real diamonds so the film in the movie was only 3 minutes long lol

  2. I’m from Scotland and I can’t believe folk walk these garbage shows. They’re so tacky and cheap. Anyone who offers up their home to appear in one of these shows only has themselves to blame.

  3. I've been to the studios of real tv or Trutv and was cut from the final video. Why? Because I would not repeat the director or who ever that was telling me exactly how to talk. Fxk that lol 😆 So yea I believe the show would tell them how to act and talk.

  5. Despite their claim, I've heard many similar stories about this particular program's sham. Hope the couple gets all their money and more back.

  6. Did these home owners expect anything more from an HGTV show? WHY….WHY…..WHY would you hire a TV network to remodel your home? It's all smoke and mirrors work. Shame on the owners. They thought the work would be done cheaper and have their 5 minutes of fame. FREAKING DUMB CHEAPSKATES that wanted to be on a TV show. This is what this equates to. Sorry!!!!!!! PSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHH

  7. ik this is an old story but this is just ridiculous !!!!!!!! i knew there was no way you could renovate an entire home in a timeframe like a week, or 4 days…..

  8. They COULD HAVE listed is as is. Of course they need direction as to whats next for filming. They sound either gullible or not ever watching the show to see it's the same script just different house and home owners. The CHOSE TO DO THIS and I'm sure it's better than it was. The show has their own budget, these people paint it as if they took their money to promote their show with staging?? Hum. There's always a counter suit option.
