We have to change laws that these animals are companions and not JUST property. That's the problem with prosecuting some of these cases. Dogs are like your furniture. You can do with them as you wish….or not, depending on how long your soul has been missing.

My dog is 101 pounds, I love every pound of her, I think she eats better than I do, she sleeps with me, we play and run in the back yard, as she and I age together I know she would never abandon me just like I would never abandon her, she and I are stuck with each other until death do we part! I love my fur baby!!!🐶

not at all condoning what this person did but most shelters now you have to pay a fee to drop an animal off. or cant be bothered to look at the animals that have been brought in by aco to see if your missing pet is there. shelters are not what they used to be. adopting and animal from a shelter is worse. we paid $400. to adopt a puppy that had to be put down a week later {another $300} because it had parvo. my daughter was heart broken. the humane society shelter wouldnt give us another dog or refund us the money.
Owners that do something like this should be locked up for ever

When people adopt animals, they have to realize they aren't disposable. This poor puppy started searching for their human and could be run over in their search. This ìs heartbreaking.
Dogs are men's best but often mistreated please adopt a pet only when you are ready to have him till you are alive because it's a long life affair thank you for saving and helping the voiceless cute kids.
I can't understand how anyone could just drop a puppy off without making sure it was safe. I hope this little one found a kind person to take it 💓!

Thats cruel that person should be tracked down and having a good dressing down, they shouldnt get them in in the first place, if going be like that, leave them be.
Where I live, the shelters won't take cats. I've tried taking abandoned cats, it's a no go 😞.
