🥒 ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer.

If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I’m a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.

  1. That's solid Sonny. Towards the end I was wondering if you bought him a new cow and then almost on queue you said you bought him a cow. I loved this episode so much. You guys are great.

  2. I got so so excited when I saw the tamarind!! I'm indigenous Honduran and tamarind trees were literally EVERYWHERE in Honduras while I grew up there, like you could walk outta your house and BOOM! A tamarind tree right in your face!!! Tamarind is such a comfort food for me! My mother makes a kickass tamarind aquafresca! I also remember when growing up my siblings and I would bring huge snack bags of tamarind fruits to school and munch on em, when we moved to the States we would share with the other kids cuz a lot of then haven't even seen or heard of tamarind, ahh this brings back such good memories!! Actually I'm eating tamarind soup right now!

  3. What a fun video. It's nice to see Vincent and his family living off the land and sharing what he has. Sonny you're a good soul for buying them a cow.
