A man found an injured bird, he decided to bring it some food but as he was gone for a few minutes the bird seemed to have flown away.

It was the birth lucky day👀 that poor baby probably ran out of water and food👀 no doubt about the BBC news👀
not only is that bird flying again, he will never forget the human that helped him!
Hind sight is 20/20.
Sounds like the bird just woke up, if anything it would have flown at the windows. Likely flew into a car and was stunned. Nice that he stopped to help it

Birds are not cats or dogs when you capture a bird like that you always have it in a closed space that can't hurt its wings when they open it sometimes they'll jump up and down and if they do they will break their wings and that's really bad news good thing the guy had enough brains to not do that but maybe he should have called the SPC and and had them come over and grab the Big Bird so the bird doesn't get killed by the human trying to help.
Red tailed kites aren't as rare as they used to be and can be seen all over the UK now. And in some areas are considered a pest.
Good guy! 👍
🙏 God bless you rescuer
Beautifull 👀🇩🇰🇺🇸🇬🇧👍🙏
Great job God Bless!
My nephew had to get a woodpecker out of my uncle's house Christmas 2021, he caught it and he ran out the door but the bird got him it peck him first when he let it go and it flew to a light post hehehe…it was funny to say the least
Hindsight, I know, but why not just open the windows? Push'n'hold on the driver's side window-switch rolls down all 4 on some cars, even. Or just grab all the switches to open the windows individually, sunroof if you have one, too. And always always always wrap birds in cloth (towel, shirt, anything) so you don't get mauled.
My gf and i once found a seagull with fishing-line tangled around his feet, and the only way we could get him still/quiet enough to do anything was to wrap him like a mummy, fish out his feet from underneath, and carefully snip away the line. Before that, he'd be fighting and if anything, the line was cutting into his ankles(?).
Why didn't he just roll down the windows, open the doors and let him out? This makes no sense at all.
Lucky he got help. I rang the RSPCA to help a kitten that was thrown at my fence. They refused to come and for years they rang for donations. Yeah right.
He did the right thing. That bird could have been killed or knocked by another car.
He is kind person and saved the wounded bird who is endangered species thank you so much stay blessed everyone of you ❤️💗
I wouldn't have put it in my car. I'm allergic to pain and want all my body parts intact! 😂🤣 Glad both man and bird are okay!
What a hilarious story. Thanks for sharing. I once had a Woody Wood Pecker fly down my fireplace chimney. I got home from work to find tattered drapes, and blood all over the walls. It had made its way to the second story. In order to make it safe, had to actually have windows removed from my house to get it to leave. A very expensive lesson on wildlife, and putting a cage over the fireplace flu. The house was over 100 years old
Wonder if this ever happened to anybody else? I mean this woodpecker was huge, with the red feathers and all. Never saw any before or after this situation. It was really, really odd.
His mistake was not securing the bird with a towel or jacket. He should of pulled over & removed the bird from his car the moment the Bird started to regain movement placed it on the ground & stepped back to observe. I've also stopped to rescue a Galah from a busy roadway. It was stunned only. I parked wrapped it securely in a blanket & secured it with the seatbelt. I did this knowing I only had 2 minutes to remove it to a safe location understanding it would revive & become HOSTILE! I rushed it off the middle of a 6 lane median strip round the corner to a side road, ran round to passenger side flung open door & placed my angry passenger on ground just in time. As soon as it unwrapped itself it began targeting me(as I knew it would!) No one wants an angry cocky climbing up their leg! I lead it away from the car then doubled back & jumped in. It eventually climbed up a fence & 15min later after rearranging its ruffled feathers took off! Those birds can get real nasty when their ANGRY! 🤣🤣🤭
I had the distinct HONOR to rescue a beautiful Red Tail Hawk a few years back. We found him when we were out fishing so I wrapped him in one of my work aprons and took him to a veterinarian who took in animals for the North Carolina wildlife commission. The bird was foaming at the mouth and the vet said he had most likely gotten ahold of some sort of poison. Gave them the exact location he was found so if he survived he would be released back to the location. To be able to hold that stunning bird in my arms and stroke his head, look into those beautiful eyes still gives me the chills to this day. What a blessing that was and a treasured memory. I choose to believe he lived and was released and don't want to know otherwise.
Wow beautiful bird
The bird needed help do have patience your a good guy for helping the hawk. If it was injured you saved its life
Glad he stopped to help. A Freind & I rescue birds(mostly Warblers)that hit the glass skyscrapers in Newark NJ, TRT made a video named 'Window Strikes in the Business District' of us picking up injured Warblers; 85% of the Warblers we bring to them the nurse back to health and release. Not on the video, but in the past also recused Hawks,, Peregrine Falcon,, Hummingbirds, Thrushes, Woodcocks, etc ( but not on the video). Do hope the bird in your video has a health, free life
He did the right thing. Although it probably depends on how restrictive the wild life laws are in any particular area. I wonder what the bird was thinking. Did he realize he had been saved or did he think he had been captured? We will never know.
He should do an update he should go to wherever they took it and find out what type of injury it had and is it now flying high in the sky?
Your an angel God bless you always
Wow!
Good man! Hope bird is well, not his fault that he is born to be beautiful bird!
