Mine isn't as crazy but I almost got hit by a car going around 50 km/h when I was a little child because I wanted a piggyback ride from my dad who was already crossing the road and on the other side of it. Luckily my mom caught me in time or I'd be dead af
Ima call bs on the friendly fire one as I don't see how it would be possible to empty an entire mag on burst or semi without seeing who you're shooting and if they can't see who they're shooting they wouldn't hit their target. Possibly embellished and he only took like 9 rounds but I'm leaning more towards just straight up fake
How do you smack a person till they can't breathe ??
I nearly died of starvation when I was 5. I have a shitty mom and back then my dad worked constantly so she always fed me. Well, one week we were to broke to afford food and I end up going to the hospital. Apparently I could've died
I still have trauma from this: It was when I was a toddler and young kid. But once when I was 5 or so, my dad got upset— he would force feed me Wellbutrin he stole from the children’s hospital and dose me with it. I started acting up refusing the pills. So he threw me to the floor and used a restraint technique they used to use on psych patient children where they fold your arms behind your back and essentially press their knee in to your neck.
My own dad did to me what killed George Floyd. Regularly. As punishment. He did it once to the point I was screaming for help and I couldn’t breathe the neighbor came and told me he would beat me if I told her. It was the last thing I remember before he hit me and I lacked out.
I hated him so much. Im glad he has since died, and did so alone and miserable. That stuff haunts me. And im too poor to afford help. So I just have to live with it…. Im 34 now. And struggle with agoraphobia, depression, major anxiety problems, memory issues, breathing issues, and have been denied disability so that’s fun…
5 years old on the lake i woke up from a nap in a camper trailer not sure why but i saw everyone else in the lake and i had to join them had my shoes on no life jacket and had no clue how to swim i bolted across the dock and just jumped in i remember grabbing the dock pole that goes into the water but it being to slippery to pull myself up with i remember thinking well this is how i die thank God at that moment my dads friend reached down and dragged my water logged ass up to get a breath of air. still to this day have no idea why i did that i guess kids really do have a suicide mind set.
I almost got bit by a baby cotton mouth when I was about 6 or 7. I was outside playing, I picked up a rock and it was curled up under it. My fingers were literaly right next to it. Another scary moment my dad called my brothers out side with him and then he opened the back door and threw a poisonous snake inside with me and my mom. We both went running out the front door. Also my dad refused to buy me asthma medications, even after being hospitalized for a week at a time a few times. I learned not to run early on. Another time a bully shoved me into the fryer at McDonald's in my first week after being hired. My hand almost went into the grease.
Waiting to get admitted to the operation room with a ruptured appendix at 18, shit sucked and my grandparents behaving negligently almost killed me, spent 17 hours in perpetual pain, most exhausting day of my life, currently recovering from a dislocated patella, hurts like hell but it had happened already on the other leg and thankfully I didn't get that feeling of dread that says "this is it, I'm sorry mom" about either heheh
That's not smacking.. That's called hitting…
I fell off a 2 story roof. I do remember gently floating down as if in slow motion and never recalled hitting the ground. I remember choaking on my own blood and not being able to breath or talk. My friend was standing over me freaking out, telling me not to die. A medivac helicopter rushed me to ICU. Later, I was told I crashed and died twice on the way there. Woke up a week later and was told I broke 7 ribs, punctured both my lungs, had a severe concussion, and my back was dislocated. I consider myself so lucky! I could have crushed my skull, had brain damage, broken my legs or arms,or broken my back and became a paraplegic. Thank God. I know my Brother and Grandmother who had passed years earlier lightened my fall. I just know it. They slowed it down and made certain I didn't land on a rock wall that was in my line of falling. Instead, I was told I landed on my back completely straight as if someone had placed me down. Weird I know. There's so much we don't know about the paranormal but I tend to believe it. My Brother and grandmother were there that day. No one can tell me differently!
Its impressive how much a human body can survive with the help of medicine and modern technology Also how tf does a person presumably in the same group as you mistake you for the enemy and unload AN ENTIRE FUCKING MAG into you
First one's dad needs a near death moment
Last guy was in iraq on recruit difficulty.
Being close to a knife
yeah i felt the first one, although it wasn’t as bad. my dad gave me a few smacks and i hit my head against the wall multiple times, i couldn’t breathe. he eventually stopped tho
I was in the hospital in December for lung problems. One day I woke up and could barely breathe at all. I was gasping for air and begging for help, but the nurse just said, "Okay, breathe, it's okay. Sometimes I can't breathe when I wake up. Just take a deep breath." I was literally telling her that I couldn't breathe, and eventually she would just ignore when I pushed the button. I didn't get attention until 1 PM. My lung had collapsed. Still pisses me off.
Spent the night at a friend's house. Nothing new. Had done it several times before. Except this time he apparently blacked out while drinking, and woke me up by trying to r*** me. Woke up to him attempting to pull my clothes off.
When I started trying to fight him he very nearly strangled me to death. I could feel myself losing consciousness and only got away because he got annoyed with me fighting him. I was lucky.
You're telling me this dude got shot 20-30 in the chest and is just browsing reddit? Bs
i literally forgot about this because i was fairly young at the time (fifth grade) and didn’t understand the severity of the situation. me and my friend were about to cross the road and stepped forward right as a car turned the corner going way too fast. her mom pulled us both out of the way, inches from the car. it was definitely going fast enough to severely injure or even kill one of us. scary to think i nearly forgot.
I have 2 🙃 Got hit by a drunk driver when I was 16, suffered a broken knee, 2 permanently broken ribs, fractured shin and ankle, had to do therapy to walk properly again, spent 4 months in hospital recovering. Still suffering with internal pain 10 years later from it, especially in the winter time.
I'm now diagnosed with polycystic ovaries because of this, I had a cyst that popped and caused a massive blood infection, had to do a course of several antibiotics for 8 weeks, nearly had organ failure because of it, I only went to the drs because I coughed up some blood whilst at work one day, the pain was unbearable, I honestly thought I was going to die 🙃😂
Once my cousins thought it would be funny to hold little 6 year old me under the water in a deep pool. When I got out I was sobbing for my parents but they just thought I was overreacting. I couldn't stop crying or shaking. It sucked
