1. The look on her face is, “I’m dissatisfied”. But she’s so sweet, she just has FOMO & likes uninterrupted attention which is harder to find these days. Their sweet family is lucky to have each other. 💕

4. If there is one thing I would ask God to change…it would be to make the life span of our pets to be the same as ours. 10-15 years just isn't long enough.

12. Right after my beloved kitty Little-bit passed away from intestinal cancer, at only 6 years old, I was informed of a geriatric cat (17-20yrs), in dire need of a home. This really old orange tabby was called Biggy, which I changed to Miss Biggy. Miss Biggy's mum was elderly, and one day she went out, fell, broke her hip, and she and Miss Biggy never saw each other again. The family took Miss Biggy to the vet to be put down. The vet said no, this is a healthy, able-bodied cat. We will find a new home for her. They couldn't find anybody who wanted a geriatric cat, until I came along almost 5 months later. That whole time she lived in a small windowless storage room. She got lots of love from the staff, but she no longer had her person. When I heard about this I knew that I couldn't leave her to spend her last days there. So I adopted her, and we had 17 lovely months together. Senior cats and dogs are great, and often overlooked by people interested in younger cats. Next time you're looking to adopt, consider gramps or grandma in the corner, they will be so happy someone's taking them out of there and to their new home.

17. Lol. I adopted two senior dogs. I have to hold their food bowls for them to get them to eat. I consider this bonding time. 🐕🐕💘

20. That cat isn't going to starve to death if you don't pet her while she eats. Try not petting her… she'll eat it eventually.

26. My cat does the same to me. He hated to be alone. He is only happy when he is right next to me or laying across me. Night time is the worst for him cause I go to bed. He is not allowed in my bedroom. I don't sleep well with him in bed with me plus I can't breathe well with him on my bed.

37. So many times a senior cat who's owner can't keep them lands in a shelter or somewhere not great. So nice she found safe home where she's adored & spoiled. ❤❤❤
