4. In a perverse sense, a horrific accident like this is good for AGT Extreme in the sense that it legitimizes the premise. If nobody ever got hurt, it'd be too easy to dismiss the stunts as bogus, or at least playing too safe. When someone ends up in the hospital, you know that these performers really are putting their bodies on the line and what they're doing is both dangerous and remarkable.

   That said, better him than me. 😉

7. Thank you for having this available. For some reason, reality tv blurs or cuts off the real accidents although we're allowed to freely watch much worse situations on prime time tv at our leisure. So glad Johnathan is ok and apparently has no lasting effects. But honestly, he has not been successful on any of his AGT attempts so I'm surprised they let him do this stunt without some failsafe.

Why would they cancel this show over this when ever you have a show like this there will always be a chance of someone getting hurt and all the people who are preforming on the show know this and are willing to take that chance and I'll bet you the daredevil who got hurt would agree that they shouldn't cancel the show and would try that stunt again as soon as he is heeled up from his injuries!

23. I've watched AGT which started out great, all talent, but then it became a horrific show of people taking risk trying t to compete with death. I say cancel it. Definately not what I consider talent.

29. Cancel the show. I love AGT and watch it regularly, but this is not a show I will watch. Watching people put themselves in danger is NOT entertainment.

You guys have to remember most of these stunts are designed by the performer and it would be up to them to build it safe fails then relay that to the production crew, it's Extreme Stunts, stuff will go wrong, always has always will, honestly it's the reason these daredevils do it in the first place!
