2. I’m glad it didn’t hit Dawson Springs KY again. We are still waiting on new windows and siding. That last tornado also ripped our storm cellar door of the hinges.

3. Yep. I live in North Texas now and when those sirens go off it gets your full undivided attention. We had 2 tornado’s two weeks ago. The storm was so loud many people said they never even heard the sirens! I did! From living on the San Andreas fault all my life to living in tornado country I have realized that you get used to the threats of your area. The thought of earth quakes does not scare me, but tornado’s do. And I lived very near the epicenter of the Loma Prieta earth quake. That was a 7.1 .

7. Yeah, we were in the Basement. The Lightening and Thunder were something!!!! Now that's "THUNDER OVER LOUISVILLE"!!!!

21. For those driving on I64 towards Shelbyville Ky when the storm hit like I was, more so with that tornado that formed near Simpsonville KY it was terrifying.

    For the Truckers, it was Wednesday.

26. Yo, before the sirens started going off, the wind around my house picked up too almost 100mph with rain. A lot of stuff was lost last night.

27. When you see a thunderstorm that looks like a gigantic flying saucer like that storm did, then it’s time to take shelter! That flying saucer appearance is a classic sign of a well developed supercell storm. That’s mother nature’s warning sign of a storm with hail and tornadoes.

30. It was so close to my house I live in Louisville Kentucky and I always have but that was the scariest tornado that I’ve witnessed but I wanna be a tornado chaser when I grow up because I like to study natural disasters
