11. I have seen these ships sunk so they land right side up. They they lay flat on the bottom and yet provide a safe location for novice divers. No sharp edges, no unexploded ammunition or explosives. No cables to cause a diver to become trapped.

17. Like that ferry it wasn't the first time a ship was intentionally sunk to create an artificial reef remember the aircraft carrier Oriskeny she was intentionally sunk too creating the largest artificial reef as well.

23. I am no expert. That said, it seems wasteful to me. It also seems to be an excuse for soldiers to blow up and sink things. And what about that amazing Japanese vessel, made it all the way across the ocean, if not a museum pc, Why not give back to the owner on the next boat back to Japan. 38. So the Turkish coast guard ship has no holes cut in her hull. So when a tourist diver gets jammed up bc there exploring the ship the coast guard gets to rescue the trapped divers… Not smart if you ask a diver. Holes are usually cut in the ship hull for safety reason… 🙏
