  1. Those are some happy beautiful animals❤️. I feel bad for the owners when the rats pass away. I hear they don’t have that long of a life span?

  2. Adorable!! 😊😊 I feel Rats 🐀 get a bad name which is wrong. I hate that. What I've learned about them is they are very smart, nurturing, loving towards another animals baby. You take beautiful care of them. 🙏💙💙

  3. I had two female rats that had gotten left behind by college students when they moved out of the college apartment. They had been trapped in a small hamster cage not even big enough for hamster long term. They were soaked in their own waste. The people who found them were scared of rats and was going to just release them and I said no you can't do that. They wouldn't know the first thing about surviving in the wild. So even though I was also scared of rats at the time, I took them home. I discovered how awesome and cool they were, not at all how we're always told that rats are. I loved them and if I didn't now have 4 cats I'd love to have some again. I did have my older cat at the time, but he was mostly just curious of them, so they did have to live in the three story rat condo when I couldn't supervise them all. They didn't really seem to mind and they were differently better off then they were in that little hamster cage or being released into the wild. I named them Nala and Princess Leia…well actually my grandson named them when he was a little.

  4. My friends hate rats they say it’s the tails but how can you focus on the tail when they have the most vibrant personalities omg 🥹

  5. it's always been upsetting to me that nature evolved to hurt everyone on the bottom of the food chain. inno that's not where rats are, but I threw away a few glue traps I found at my parents church. that seems like a horrible way to die and I don't want to contribute to that kind of pain 🙁 I've always loved mice

  6. i've been a rat mom for a long time, and i like to refer to them as the "dogs" of the rodent world. (hamsters are cats.) they can be taught tricks too, and they wag their tails, i love them.
