Humph. So here are the differences between (theories around) IVC and Mesopotamia:
1. IVC had no social order, Mesopotamia had. Ironic given that India practices Caste System.
2. Mesopotamia built temples and architectures, IVC built The Great Bath. Makes sense given the ritual importance associated with water bodies.
3. IVC had no taxes, Mesopotamia on the other hand.
Similarities:
1. Concept of Divine King.
2. Establishment concentrated around rivers.
between two d a n k rivers
you are blue steel good job for being a thoughtful dude
HAHAHAHHAHA MONOCULAR!
I want a smart glove 🌎
I’m sorry the laptop says “this machine still exists” and that is hilarious
Edit: awww it says “kills fascists” well still funny
"This machine kills Fascists"
took my attention
fate grand order brought me here
I’m here because people are trying to claim my Ancestor civilization as their own
I had to educate myself because Mesopotamia is trending on twitter
They created not just Writing + taxing , but also farming + legislation + wheel …etc
My roots from Babylon but I live in the south of iraq (sumerian cities)
And I'm so aproud of my roots
I wonder how he can speak extremely fast like that! I don't speak English as a first language, I am being able to keep up with his speech though
Proud to be iraqi 😎🇮🇶 from Mesopotamia
you are really good and helpful….although you speak soooo fast that I have to rewind to many times….could you slow down a little? BTW, your videos are helping me a lot.
Nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Iraq… You may have died in these ages… But your history is still alive in our hearts… 🇮🇶❤️🇦🇹
Oh my younger self, how I hate you
I watched 3 minutes of the video and i understood more than what i had done in the actual lesson
Did he just not spoil a 1000+ year old poem?
The absolute legend
whats with the mongles?
May have forgotten that there are commas and full stops in language.
Terrible introduction to the video with the terrible humour and monotonous voice. Simon Whistler might not have written the Fault in our Stars, or much of anything for that matter but at least he sounds good and takes his time to finish his sentences. Guy sounds like he pushed the 1 x 5 button during editing.
You should make a video of Mesoamerican history. Interesting stuff- Olmecs
Hope they will approve my Mongolian translation
At the beginning of the year I would read comments of people cramming before their ap exam. It’s 2020 and I’m cramming before my exam. Ah how it comes full circle
What a douche, get to the damn point
The ancient city of Mesopotamia is hal. eridu. Kish. Lagash.uruk. and ur and etc.
8 years late to the party, but did anyone else catch the WMD joke about uranium in Iraq? So clever.
Today I got to know his name is John Green
whats with the Mongols?!
الي بالعراق ٢٠٢٠ خلي يسوي لايك وندزلهم اغنيه حاسبينك

Early crash course was way more wild than it is now lol
If the present name of those places are also mentioned in the map it will be very helpful..thanks a lot for such amazing videos
This is truly terrible. The information is good, but the jokes are awful and the host is even worse. It's hard to focus on the topics that are supposed to be central in the videos. Please do not pursue a career in comedy.
Writing and reading continue to be a bright clear line dividing society. Just look at the illiteracy on the Internet.

What if these Gods were actually Aliens…just saying.
