  1. Don't forget to subscribe so you'll be able to tune into my reactions for the remaining episodes in July and August! And now, the excruciating six week wait begins… Thanks for watching! πŸ™‚

  2. Funny part is, Jimmy messed up when he didn’t lock the door behind Howard.

Sure it wouldn’t hold up long against a dude with a gun, but at least Jimmy wouldn’t have been caught with his pants around his ankles

  3. I was so mad at the writers for killing my boy Howard I swore off the show.

That lasted 36 hours. These heartless bastards own me.

  4. I like your insight bro, you touch on a lot of thoughts i have about the unknown spots in the BB/BCS universe. What do you think about Gus background? I feel like he's former chilean intelligence (DINA)

  5. I think when the writers wanted to give characters the ending they deserve, I think they meant giving them their last moments to shine, not necessarily what their characters deserve to have happen to them. Howard got this whole last scene and really most of this episode, and Nacho got his speech at the end of 6×03

  6. My prediction: Kim will kill Lalo and then turn herself in for Howard's death. They will see each other again in Gene episodes near the end. They can no longer be together behind the scenes during BB because them being together causes death. At least during BB timeline, we thought Saul was a slimeball but not complicit in a homicide, let alone staying with a wife who is also complicit.

  7. Regarding Jimmy thinking Lalo is alive in Breaking Bad – I think that the ending to this episode cleared up that even if Jimmy is informed of his death, he'll never again take that at face value, not after his ghost showed up at his doorstep and murdered Howard before his eyes.

  8. Regarding the pacing, I completely agree.
The show has always been like this, and I (like you) thought it was too slow in the beginning.
I was wrong. It is beautifully crafted and particularly paced for a specific reason, and it allows for a lot of great shots as well as tension within the plot.

  9. Howard really didn't deserve this, he might be cocky but having his career ruined because of it was too much. Deep down, Howard was right in saying that they were both soulless.

  10. One of the little details i loved, when Howard was ranting about Jimmy switching the photos, it showed a picture of Chuck in the backround, making you think of how Chuck had a similar freak out about Jimmy switching numbers, a scheme that eventually lead to Chuck's death, just as this one lead to Howard's. The symmetry is great.

  11. Howard was no saint. He didn’t deserve that ending; but he wasn’t void of sin. When the Kettleman’s – and neither Howard or Chuck could have held onto those two nut jobs – went back to Jimmy, Howard demoted Kim and threw her in doc review.
When Jimmy made that ad, which Kim had nothing to do with, her job was not to babysit Jimmy, she, in fact, believed Jimmy had permission to air it, to hurt Jimmy they punished Kim.
When Kim, and Kim alone, brought in Mesa Verde, Howard wanted to keep Kim in doc review, it was Chuck who pulled her out.
At Chuck’s funeral, to relieve all his own quilt and pain, Howard unloaded all that crap on Jimmy.
Howard never had the balls to stand up to Chuck about Jimmy except at the end when it was Howard who was in fear of losing the firm.
Again, Howard didn’t deserve that ending in anyway, but he wasn’t just an observer in all this.

  12. This is probably the most upset I've been about a character death in the BB/BCS universe. He wasn't perfect and he could be an asshole but at his core I think he was a good person. It's fucking heartbreaking what happened to him. It's even sadder knowing that when he said "I'll land on my feet", he probably meant it. He would've recovered. And now he gets taken down at his lowest point.

  13. The truck in the desert when Mike dropped off them had the name of the laundry on it.. When I 1st saw that I thought oh my God a plot hole lol

  14. It’s quite interesting. The reason Nacho’s death is less tragic is that Nacho is indeed redeemed by death, as he made the wrong choices but was allowed death in exchange for the innocent father to live. Howard, however was a casualty of circumstance and did not achieve his redemption. Even Hank received his proper end as a martyr while knowing full well what was happening, and with dignity. Howard however is killed while probably drunk, ruined, and completely unaware. It’s a more tragic end than any other major character in either series, as his death means nothing. It could have been anyone standing there.

  15. Kim ought to watch out, she might end up in a tug'o-war between Lalo Salamanca and Gus Fring. Michael will put it together what happened to Howard Hamlin, his men where following Jimmy and Kim. Michael did admit to Kim, that he wasn't concerned about Jimmy and Kim's extracurricular activities vis-a-vis Howard. How many people really believe that Michael is not going to find out Lalo shot Howard? Michael pulled all the guards from Low priority location, and sent them to watch the Safe House. That's how Lalo slipped in without Michael's awareness. I wonder what will happen if Kim gets stuck between Gus and Lalo?
