This was the last day of the Whistler Bike park portion of my trip and I couldn’t have asked for a better day. More trails were starting to open up, and the conditions were getting better and better. But after 3 days of riding whistler bike park, I was pretty beat and ready to move on.

Atome Video 👍
How fast are you traveling on those down hill runs? It would be cool to see your speed on the screen.
18:57 describes why I love MTB…. doing dumb shit on your bike and laughing about it with your friends.
You're a beast dude, your videos are motivating!
Hitting these trails on a x country bike is insane.
Just so you know the root gap on Aline rock drop is 1000% not remi’s people have been hitting it for years
Phil, The next time you are in BC you should see if you can find someone to take you to some of the North Vancouver Mountains (Seymour, Grouse and Cypress). It's been a few decades since I rode them, but it is some of the grnarliest riding you will ever experience. The only thing is there is a lot of climbing involved 🙂
"Where am I going" followed by a vertical drop of a few feet.. Always amazed by your confidence running these trails, sometimes blind. Keep it up!
Subbed Your Channel, It is very interesting and beautiful 🙂 thank you for sharing====
Can you please do another ride with Mr. David Lieb?
That was sooo fricking cool
So much positive energy, love your videos 😎🤘 Cool riding with other including the kids too
Stoked to see the GT channel video of you shredding with Ian and Trevor Burke!
Mate to ride these trails and then see you pull off these ridiculous lines is 🥹
19:07 nailed the roblox augh 100%
Freakin fast omg 🤟
I always enjoy your videos
Thanks
Hi Phil, do you think you will ever make a video about safety gear for mountain bikers? I think that in sports like this and motocross, safety often is overlooked because a lot of the time, people want to look cool or not feel uncomfortable. People typically say that extra gear isn’t that important or doesn’t look as good if they haven’t been in a serious accident before. Or because of the cost, in which case I can say that a leatte neck brace is absolutely worth the $400 or so.
I recommend getting a full face helmet, a neck brace and elbow and knee pads, and a chest protector at least. No joke, I fell head first off a mx bike, neck brace and helmet helped quite a bit. Mountain biking fast has very similar risks, including trees, don’t underestimate it. It is expensive, definitely worth the money, more important actually than the bike for your safety. I’ve also slammed my knees and elbows into rocks, and there are more rocks on mountain bike trials than mx tracks.
And actually, more bulky cheaper helmets that are both dot and snell approved work better with the leatte brace, which is better than Atlas in my opinion. And keep the padding on the brace which also increases safety. Trust me, you will need it.
Also, after I crashed head first, I literally shattered and dislocated my shoulder and rolled probably 40 feet. Also tried tumbling to lessen the impact. You can imagine what would have happened if I wasn’t wearing proper gear. And trust me, you will get used to wearing the gear, it’s no issue after you wear it for a day.
People should also be sure not to just pick a helmet because of how it looks or feels. Helmets that are both Dot and snell approved are safer because both agencies have differ testing requirements for different types of impacts. They don’t all work the Same way. Having approval from both agencies means that the helmet has been tested under a more broad range of circumstances. It’s not about price, it’s about the testing agency. So a more bulky helmet that is dot and snell approved is worth it.
And never buy a used helmet or neck brace. And replace a helmet or neck brace after any serious accidents or if you slam your head on a relatively sharp rock, otherwise they might not work properly in the next serious accident. And I wouldn’t recommend selling used helmets or neck braces, although if you do sell a used helmet or neck brace, be clear with the buyer about any accidents you have had when wearing it, as well as the risks of buying used gear, for their safety.

Phil: You bent your hanger.
Kid: You can fix that?!
Adorable. This is what this is all about. Love helping kids out. Nurture tomorrow's pros.
fantastic, super approachable, really great interaction, amazing riding…you are the YouTuber's MTB YouTuber!
Love the videos!
Are you going to North Shore?
Get Boostmaster to take to Kelowna ot some other crazy parks around BC. Also the Island has a awesome park!!!
The way you find lines on the trail blows my mind every-time. The whole video I’m just like 🤯🤯🤯 also riding with those kids was so awesome to watch🙏🏻
Phil I have been watching your videos pretty much daily for several months now. I have learned a lot from watching and really enjoy your personality. I absolutely love the fact that you ride with the younger kids and speak so kindly to them. Very rewarding channel you have created.
10:35. whaaaattt???!!
Ur opinion what's better blue mountain or mountain creek I live in the middle I do want to race enduro next year I ride a nuckproof mega 290 170mm lyrik ultimate and 160mm super deluxe ultimate all my buddies rent bikes I want to ride mine u seem too be like me ride bike ur best on and can do everything
Random question. Does Highland seem more conservative to you in regards to opening up trails? A lot of the stuff you were riding at Whistler would be closed at Highland in my experience. I ride MT Creek as my home base and they will open up all kinds of gnar that sometimes I think should be closed. What's the deciding factor??
Man. Once someone has a cam on me I crash or ride like crap. Get better quick brother!!
Great video! Really appreciate your hard work. Recovering from injury and just headed out for a ride. You’ve got me stoked.
Hey Phil super riders asked on his latest YouTube video who is the best rider on the internet and I said you for sure! Keep up the great work buddy
Definitely getting to know it more, you were pushing it more. 🤣
Phil u r very good at bikes
Wholesome Phil taking laps with the fans! You love to see it . Would be sick to see you out in Squamish doing some remy Steve yoanne trails!
Hey Phil, I need your opinion on choosing a beginner's downhill bike for someone that is 5'4 and also what bike park do you think is a good place for a beginner?
‘Brass tacks’ is a pricing term, when discussing final pricing, including finishing details such as brass tacks.
unreal riding!!
I enjoyed that one.
It is all starting to feel so familiar even though I've never even been there.
Thankfully we are starting to get some really nice trails here in the UK too these days 🙂
Being famous of her comment day 1 ,so I can live my dream live every day like it’s your last🤙
Trevy can shredy!
Great video man, really enjoyed it 😁
I counted 9 times any normal rider would have crashed from 12:12 to 13:12 in this video! LOL
Hi Phil you make great videos , I have to ask obviously you guys are pro's just wondering how long it took you to get where you are today ? Thx much
It is nice to see Phil pushing his limits and stumbling a bit. After watching him just crush every other trail it is very refreshing to see there is always still room to improve, even at the higher levels.
I just took "a look at these berms" and they are looking MINT COOKIE DOUGH BUTTER SMOOTH on ALINE because they have a big budget just for fixing ALINE – ya know, because it's the most famous trail…they usually fix them up a few times a season to get the smoothness at top world class level. Nice video man, sick line choice in the Aline Tech section, amazing jumps and ALINE tree pre-hop into the famous drop! They even have another feature called the ALINE ROCK DROP SIMULATOR!! See you at the Whistler Bike Park next time you are here.
I wonder if I'll ever find trails similar to those at Whistler where I am.
27:39 That was absolutely insane! I wish we could see a 3rd person shot of that
U should try Bromont bike park in Quebec, it’s pretty rowdy🤘🏼
How are you so confident in the air?
