My brother has a German shorthaired pointer and most people dock their tails but my brother didn't have his docked. We call him thunder tail because when he wags it it will knock things over, off of wherever and it sure hurts when he hits you with it. But we love him. God bless.
I totally agree! There's absolutely no reason to dock a dog's tail unless it was severely damaged in some way.

Cutting a dog's tail is soooooo wrong. It makes them special. Isn't it suppose to bring balance in someway to a dog? I think its cruel. Unless something is unfixable then understandable. How she like it if its the other way round? Cant say what. Inappropriate to say. ITSS CRUEL NOBODY SHOULD GET A DOG OR PUPPY FROM HER. Those puppies dont look cute without a cute tail. The old lady breeder is FOS. I hope she's prosecuted fully. STUBBORN, STUBBORN, STUBBORN & resentful about being told what to do w/'her' dogs.
That dog breeder was lying and playing games with the law. She is EVIL.
How about we start telling breders like her that we're just going to snip off a finger. After all, "well you could break it." Ugh. Absolutely hate that people think carving animals up to suite them is okay.

Why didnt any one use a saw and free the dog. and once the dog is whining like that, I doubt he or she would bite. The dog would be grateful to be released.
A lot of people will disagree but I personally agree with the breeder. Dobermans are a man made breed and one of the things bred into the breed is a weak tail that will in over 90% cases be broken during the dogs lifetime due to it wagging around and slamming against furniture or breaking while outside. Weak tails are sadly what makes a doberman a doberman and removing it while the puppies aren't aware of the removal and the nerves are less developed and heal faster is better than the dog getting it removed at a few years old during an injury when its an actually traumatic experiance that includes a painful amputation.

That stupid breeder should be docked. That is brutal and should never be done just as their ears shouldn't be clipped.

Thank you for another great video. I don't approve of docking tails and clipping ears on any breed of dogs. The old lady is crazy if she thinks anyone could possibly believe her story as to why the docking is necessary. Happy that Otis and the Mom deer are okay. ❤️👍

I think if that lady truly believes it's fine to do that to NEWBORN puppies, she should be willing, and anyone else who claims its necessary without an actual medical reason, to throw her foot up on the table and let someone cut it off with say bolt cutters, with no anesthesia. I wonder if then she would change her mind? I doubt it. Ear and tail cropping needs to be banned across the board. And the only way it can be performed is with 2 seperate veterinarian opinions. Docking is completely different from amputation. And only the latter should be acceptable.
Docking is for show. Are there no rules that protect the animals from their owners….
That RSPCA officer is right. There is no justification for docking. It does nothing and it's cruel.

Are there also new laws pertaining to ear cropping in New South Wales? The whole tail and ear thing for some breeds is just man's selfish doings to make them "show" dogs. For myself, I think both the ear and tail surgeries are unnecessary and should be banned. So many breeds suffer all kinds of medical issues because man thinks he knows best. Bulldogs are one example of continuing to breed problems for future generations. Selfish is all it is.
I enjoy your videos, but please stop jumping from video to video every few few minutes, really annoying, finish a story before you start the next.
