When we received a text on the #HopeForPaws emergency line about a homeless dog by a busy road, Loreta and I rushed out to save her before something terrible happens. We spotted the dog at the same moment and approached the dog slowly so she wouldn’t get spooked and run into traffic.
The #dog ran onto a property where we couldn’t go in. Loreta was a little nervous because this area is notorious for gang activity. She wanted to grab the dog through the fence, but I didn’t think it was a good idea because I didn’t want Loreta to take (another) painful bite. It is really best to watch and see what happens next… we don’t always agree, but the final result will melt your heart ❤️

I would like to adopt a dog from their website but they only let people adopt the pets that live in California. It's understandable but it's quite a bummer 🙁

@6:20 THAT BRUSH 🙂 I have a shih-tzu 4,5 months old and I would really want a brush like that to clean my dogs face when bathing him. But I can't find it in Belgium/EU? 🙁 Does it have a name or does anyone know a brand that sells these brushes? I would love for it to be a little smaller as well. I've been thinking about using a toothbrush but I'm unsure if it is ok to use that. Maybe a childrens toothbrush?

What a beauty, and thank you for saving Freya. It's surprising how much love,caring, and a tender touch can free the furbabies from fear,anxiety, abuse- then they turn into a loving,affectionate, happy, and ability to play in just a few months. I have 4 adopted rescues that are just like Freya story. I pray 1 day that every furbaby will have a loving and caring home furever and never have the emotions of being abused and thrown awaY like trash. Thank God for people that foster these animals! I admire them, they bring dogs into their homes knowing they will be adopted out. And yes, sometimes that fails, but that’s ok. But the foster families get to know the animals, if their good with kids, families etc.
It’s a good thing. And when I read some of the comments about fostering animals, you have no idea how important they are. To live this animal, care for them, and knowing they will get adopted, that’s why I admire them.
You see, that’s their job, to find a good family and knowing this animal will be happy ! Kudo’s to all who foster the animals! It’s got to be hard to let them go …… it’s all about Love and giving!!!
