A POLICE officer rescued a baby deer that got stuck in a fence in Tigard, Oregon, the department said.
In a Facebook post on July 11, the Tigard Police Department explained how Community Service Officer Petersen responded to a call on SW Ascension Drive about a trapped fawn.
Bodycam footage shows how he was able to get the fawn safely released so it could reunite with its family on the other side of the fence.

I hate noises like that
Nice work saving this Fawn 👏👍🐾🇨🇦
Use a scissors-jack, I've done it.
Or a car-jack, like on ADAM-12, when that
kid got his head stuck in a fence.
Mam nadzieje że ze zwierzynką wszystko ok potem

Instead of cutting the iron rods, why not just cut the deer? It's much softer.

How’s it going to join its mom. She is on the other side???
Great work to help the 🦌 🦌 😁
A good rub of baby oil on his side would’ve done the trick..👍🏾 still great job! Cute! 🥰
