  1. Two things about this:

    1. That could have been avoided if they had the wedding indoors.
    2. Imagine a surfer showing up at an inconvenient time.

"If anyone can show just cause why they may not be lawfully wed, speak now or forever hold your peace"
    "Cowabunga, dude!"

  2. This is symbolic. The venue is the groom. The wave is the bride. And the total destruction of the venue is the guaranteed divorce. The bride wipes him out. Don’t do it men. Marriage is suicide for men. 💍👎🏼👎🏽👎🏾👎🏿

  3. If they really think that was "hardship", I'm seriously worried about their marriage. It was an amazing experience and so glad no one was hurt, and most of all, the day was special and lots of fun was had. "Unity in the face of hardship"…yikes.

  4. Congradulations! FYI the US Open of Surfing starts this month for your Honeymoon in Huntington Beach CA. Just thought you might find interest

  5. I know the exact spot this took place….was there in July 2019 when a 4 day super-swell event occurred from a storm in the southern ocean. Beautiful island! Best of luck to the newlyweds!

  6. Married at Hulihe’e Palace, a kapu place sacred to kanaka maoli! Those waves were not a good sign nor a dramatic photo op!!
