China has appointed nearly 1.2 million “forest chiefs” since the position was created nationwide in 2020. Chosen in all provincial regions, forest chiefs help curb illegal damage to forests and mitigate natural disasters such as fires, according to the National Forestry and Grassland Administration. So far, nearly 4 million hectares (9.9 million acres) of land have been planted since 2021.

  1. This is a wonderful and excellent idea and plan. This should be implemented all over the world. If something isn't done to keep nature in balance and to thrive for us all then there will be nothing left.

  2. इस जगत में जितना अधिक बनभूमी होगा समस्त जीवों का उतना ही कल्याण ।

  3. Just shows how China cares and preserves nature unlike the US. If this was the US, they would have chopped all the trees they can to build firearm stocks and forearms.

  4. proud moment for Bangladesh 🇧🇩
Bangladeshi astronaut becomes the first who'll land on sun
but due to heat he'll land there at night
    inshallah Bangladesh scientific country 🇧🇩🇧🇩

  5. China has a tradition of collectivist culture where an entire nation can come together and solve challenges.
China's founding Myth is Yu the Great, uniting different tribes along the Yellow River valley to build dams and irrigation projects the tame the great floods.
This process of uniting the different tribes eventually formed the Xia dynasty and the Chinese identity.
The interesting thing is, pretty much all ancient civilizations have a Flood Myth, But China is the only one what did not attribute it to some religion and decided to solve the problem logically.

  6. Amazing. Let's see the BBC now try to spin this as "Brutal Chinese government oppress peaceful loggers by banning deforestation" 🤣😅

  7. Why this small eyed people channel always show +ve about their own country? Show the world about riots, unemployment, war, propaganda that your country is doing.. idiots 🖕🏻

  8. Very contradicting of china. With all these forest chiefs, yet at the same time pollution is high in the industrial cities from factories. Lol.

  9. Surprised SCMP, Global Times didn't give any news of 🤕brutal 🤕protest in China and how 'Xi jin pig' destroyed 🤐🤕protesters brutally.Chinese have no "speech freedom" or other freedom also.

  10. I have a dream, when I finally start making money, I will buy a big chunk of land and grow trees on it, and since it's a private land, no one can do anything on it
