15. It’s 350$ to 400$ a night because people are stupid enough to pay it . A lot of business being done in the area, so that rate gets paid by businesses, then write it off a portion at the end of the year with taxes . 16. When you head north finally and cross back into Washington wave when you go through Kalama. I have a bunch of friends there and I live in the mountains a little north east of there. The land of rivers it is. I have been many places and never found one as alive and beautiful as home. I hope you and your puppy have an awesome trip to Alaska. I have friends that live there also, although I have never been there myself, they tell me it is alive and beautiful as well. Can't wait to see the next video.

30. The Panamerican highway from end to end is an awesome journey and hasnt been done too many times..the adventure of a lifetime. I just wish your trip had started 2019 or anytime before the year to end all years that was 2020 and continues today, America was a different place pre pandemic and all unneccesary nonsense that came with it. Of course you could say that about any country, but I think it's especially true here. I live in a state/city that was largely untouched by the "social justice" rioting and looting and there was no defunding of police here, yet crime has still risen and a once very friendly city seems a little less so these days..it's as if everyone is a bit traumatized and edgy, and it's noticeable even though life has gotten back to usual for the most part. Even so, many of the places you will stay along the way it wont be apparent at all. I'm not terribly shocked at the hotel prices in Bend Oregon, thats the cost of trying to run a socialist state with a capitalist economy. I have relatives who live not far from Bend who are contemplating moving for the first time in their lives, and sadly thats in spite of the natural beauty and deep roots in the area. I wish you godspeed on your incredible journey and will be watching for your vids every chance I get!
