  1. Oh boy, I'm starting a new job powerwashing machines in a mashed potato factory this week, guess what game I probably won't be picking up lol.

  2. What we can do to help the environment is to use the power of our democracy and work together collectively to get legislation passed to limit and control big corporations, especially the oil and gas producers, because they are the ones who have both created our environment problems but more importantly have intentionally confused and distracted the masses into thinking they are individually responsible for and can, as individuals, solve things by their own actions. In 1971 Keep America Beautiful, Inc., funded by PepsiCo, Philip Morris, Anheuser-Busch, Georgia-Pacific, Coca-Cola, and others, released the famous TV ad with the tagline “People Start Pollution. People can stop it.” with the Italian American actor Espera Oscar de Corti playing a Native American who sheds a tear when a bag of trash is thrown from a car and lands at his feet. In 2000 British Petroleum hired PR firm Ogilvy & Mather to popularize and promote the term "carbon footprint" to the masses. This has been some of the most insidious, compelling, and confusing propaganda ever produced, and has moved the public's focus away from the big businesses responsible for keeping fossil fuels as the basis for energy systems everywhere on this planet and allowed them to continue down completely unsustainable paths all while presenting PR angles where they appear to care.

I have no problem with any media pointing out, expressing, or involving in it's narrative and current or projected scenarios based on the path we're on with the environment, and it doesn't make me feel bad, just frustrated that not enough media is pointing out who is responsible for this situation – the big businesses, but especially big oil, and that we can solve this through collective action in our democracies.

  3. "The only reason I'm not presently on fire is because I'm damp from anxiety sweat"
Yahtzee, you already told us you live in California, stop being redundant.

  4. Endling isn't about winning. Its about losing. You're just an animal, ultimately powerless against the rapacious greed of creatures you can't understand or influence who are hellbent on self-destructing and taking everything with them. Even if your kits survive, there isn't a viable enough gene pool to sustain a population- Not that you know that, being an animal. But we know that. We know there is no victory condition, just a final, desperate delay of the inevitable, a hopeless battle for a few more seconds that don't matter. You are nothing but the final resource to be exploited and destroyed before humanity finally chokes its last rotten breath.

It does a really good job of making you hate humans.

  5. Does anybody else get a bad feeling that we are starting to enjoy crap we hate to do in real life in a digital environment? What happens when we are developing the most breathtaking subdivision in the world playing Real Estate Tycoon, while you sit in your run down trap house, in the middle of the ghetto? What is going on ?! …. When I come upon a copy of, Tales of the CPA: Quest to the Marketing Department to remind them they have gone over budget the third quarter in a row, I will know the end is nie….

  6. It’s funny you mentioned the power wash sim levels being at ground zero of a volcanic eruption, as that’s actually the case for some of them

  7. I rolled my eyes at endlings premise because 3 baby foxes from one mother isn't even close to the required genetic diversity to sustain a species. Whether or not the game does nasty things to you at the end is irrelevant, those foxes are part of a dead species walking. If extinction is the only worry then it's already too late to do anything well before the game even starts.

  8. You generally don't need to wash out recyclables. In an episode where you go on about wasting water, it is a particularly ironic unforced error.

  9. Should do a video The Mortuary Assistant! See how the single developer compares against the AAA with who makes a better horror game!

  10. what manner of heinous crimes did yahtzee commit where not even banishment to australia was punishment enough? Must he really suffer the fate of having to life in Cal-i?

  11. "You know, like when you decide to finally shave off your whole beard-"

I'm sorry, but no. No I don't know what that is like. I have no desire to go from 32 to 12 years old again.

  12. I mean, everyone keeps committing eco-sins

throughout their daily lives, since it's basically

impossible to live in this sinful society

    without hurting the environment.

    That´s why people believe, that

    mother Nature should punish us

  13. EIF is one in a million of environmentalists media that basically only exists to make you feel bad for living and be pessimistic as fuck like every other mediocre preachey game , honestly I enjoyed the be a wild animal aspect and wished it wasn't tacked on to a shitty mad max prequel, overall a "unique" experience but it as unquie as oatmeal with wild berries your not the first person to do it and you won't be the last , overall a meh experience that people will forget about within a year or less.

Power wash , its a job simulator with really satisfying noises and cleaning fisics but apart from that it's nothing to special and dosent feel much different from games like job simulator which at least had uncanny humor and goofy scenarios to stand out , overall decent 5 minutes enjoyment before you get bored and play an actual game.

  14. there is good reason why I don't play artsy indie titles with some overt point to make
because that point is usually something depressing
like the creator them self is depressed and the only way they can excise said depression is by making a thing and asking people to buy said depression game

no he/she/they/lizard, I will not buy your depression from you, life gives me enough for my own personal share of depression.

  15. I also am a parent and constantly think about how I am raising a child in a world on it's way down the toilet and anxiously think about it for the rest of the day with any smidge of a reminder

  16. Power Wash Simulator is like a paint-by-numbers on a 3D object, not normally my kind of game but nice to relax with when you're in the mood for it.

  17. this hilariosly describes an asshole presumptuous friend that i had…his name was willard and he tried to teach kids when he didnt know how to solve quadratic equations
