1. to shed some light on number 1. ive been testing this for a while now. (i first found this on release month) it can only happen when the person you invade hasnt entered that boss before. since these bosses have no fog door initially the game gets a bit confused it terms of invasions. an invader can invade right up until the fight itself triggers. meaning that so long as the host hasnt initiated the boss fight your free to invade. majority of these boss invasions you can simply bloody finger your way into the arena with the host which causes pure chaos. ill admit tthough ive been mostly testing the limits against fire giant. i hadnt considered renala.

5. Invading Rennala fights, while rare, is some of the most fun you can have in Elden Ring. Always prioritize the phantom. Because I'm pretty sure Rennala can't hit you.

6. People who invade during bosses (Including overworld bosses) are just assholes.

15. yeah I was helping a rando fight Radagon and an invader got pulled into the fight, so it ended up being a 2v2 with me fighting the invader and the host fighting the boss lol.

18. I actually invaded a couple of people during the Radahn fight, after I had finished my own. Honestly, I always thought that one was intended, at least in some capacity. Especially since it would actually kind of make sense in the context of the combat festival. I thought it was just becoming a literal free-for-all.
